Some old something new in Hair Jewelry Accessories
We all have some old things we have either got from our moms or grandma’s old pieces of costume jewelry, why not re-cycle and use it in your hair. Imagine your mom’s surprise and pleasure to see you wearing one of her pieces recycle and re-use wow sounds like an environmental cause. I believe in using things that you already have, amazing how things can be altered to fit your modern look of today.
Even a shimmering necklace or diamante pendant, you could drape it across your hair or across your forehead if it fits of course otherwise clip it into your hair.
Those crystal vines are excellent as well to use very versatile for hair and then as a necklace, money saving item.
Adding loose weaves to a soft half-up do, with some small pieces of hair jewelry, a headband, some crystal hair extensions, will make you stand out from the run of the mill.
A great look is to add a jeweled comb tucked on one side of some flowing soft waves. Step one is to make a side parting, make soft waves using your curling iron, brush out and add your Swarovski jeweled hairpiece to tuck hair in opposite side of parting.

The amazing Hair Accessories called Fascinator, either you love them or hate them but they are great for weddings, horseracing and parties. Add that distinctive wow factor, same as Kate Middleton did as she stepped out with Prince William at there first royal function. Yes she had a pheasant fascinator on to match the theme of where they were. Vivien Sheriff Millinery, a small company based in rural Wiltshire, which makes all their hats by hand, designed the velvet and feather beret. The design team was just as delighted to see the piece on top of Kate’s head as everyone else. She has quite a few of there pieces and they were happy she wore it for her first event. The beret is made of chocolate brown velvet and trimmed with feathers (mostly pheasant) that indeed matched Kate’s outfit. It also carried a cameo and badges on it a Welsh one.

The Queen of England actually set the trend wearing the Fascinator at many occasions, as she constantly has to wear hats for functions. Kate Middleton has worn some other Fascinators for other weddings she and William attended. Even her sister had one on the other day to a wedding, so did Chelsy the girlfriend of Prince Harry. So it seems to be pretty popular in the royal’s circles and in the wedding arena, brides are also seen wearing them. See it is wonderful just to add that bit of feather hair accessories to dress up your whole outfit.

Modern fascinators are made with feathers, flowers and beads. You see them attached to the hair with a comb, headband or clip. The most seen ones are at big horseracing events like in England Ascot. Liz Hurley was seen at the races in a bright pink fascinator. Brides also use them instead of a bridal veil or hat, especially when the bridal grown in untraditional.
