Shine in Royal Wedding Hair Accessories
Some of the Royal Wedding Hair Accessories seen
With all the royal weddings abounding this year, we have a bonanza in amazing wedding hair accessories. I just loved Charlene Wittstock’s floral diamond brooch nineteenth century something borrowed from her future sister-in-law Caroline of Monaco, Hanover for the church wedding.

Wondering why she did not wear a tiara but think back to Princess Grace she wore a headdress made of silk embroidery with seed pearls, doves and flowers of orange. Charlene of Monaco now, unlike other European princesses has not inherited any jewelry from the Grimaldi family yet.

Gifts from Prince Albert in Royal Wedding Hair Accessories
But she has been given gifts from Prince Albert, created especially for her. Prince Albert got Van Cleef ET Arpels, the trusted jeweler to design a timeless gift for her. The piece is a necklace cum tiara of 859 diamonds and 359 sapphires of different shades representing the sea foam, with 11-4 carat diamonds that symbolize each drop of water. The necklace is versatile it becomes a tiara as well.
The tiara that Princess Charlene wore at the reception after the church wedding is a design from Lorenz Baumer. It is also made with diamonds, with instructions from Prince Albert to keep it simple and informal. The tiara design has the look of the crest of a wave, keeping with Charlene’s passion of the sea. Using diamonds with white gold leading, adding to the shining display of light added with 11 rods with 8 carats diamonds. It is so appropriate for the ex swimming champion to wear in keeping with the Olympic style of swimmers, makes you think of the old-fashioned wreath of bygone days. The tiara comes with a small chic screwdriver with the initials C of course; the tiara can be dismantled into sections. To wear as a small or large brooch, as a necklace, hairpiece and of course as the tiara as she wore it. It is so practical and useful for all those occasions she is going to need that extra special bling to look as spectacular as she looked at the wedding.
Well we all know the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate was loaned a tiara from the collection of the Queen. It was quite delicate and elegant, in more of a traditional way.
Up and coming Royal Wedding Hair Accessories
The question is now what will the Queen’s eldest granddaughter Zara Phillips are wearing. The dress designer has been announced it is one of the one’s the Queen uses Stewart Parvin. I looked on the website got some modern and classic styles, some so divine. On the site the models are wearing bridal gowns with wedding hair accessories by Louis Mariette from the UK. They have also got some modern new pieces like tiara like headbands, headpieces, hair clips and brooches, but they have some equally stunning vintage wedding hair accessories as well. So it will be very interesting to see what the day will bring in wedding hair accessories.

Amazing how the excitement builds about Royal Weddings, creates a lot frenzy first of Prince William and Kate and of course Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, with her fantastic tiara, at her own royal wedding this year.
Even if you go back to Fergie’s wedding, her tiara, all the tiaras Princess Diana wore over the years.
Types of Royal Tiaras
Queen Elizabeth wore a Russian Tiaras on her wedding day, but owns loads of others.
Princess Grace of Monaco, the Grimaldi family own several, Princess Caroline has worn most of them.
Princess Diana, wore the Spencer tiara for her wedding, the Queen gave her the Cambridge Love Knot as a wedding gift.

Princess Victoria of Sweden, wore the cameo tiara for her wedding, her mom wore it as well on her day.
Duchess of York tiara, Fergie’s one that she wore at her wedding
Most of these tiaras can be converted into gorgeous necklaces; Princess Caroline has on several occasions worn one like that.
European Royal Tiaras
We are all looking forward to next year and the royal wedding to see what dress and what royal tiara Kate Middleton will wear as well as Charlene Wittstock marrying Prince Albert. Princess Grace never wore a tiara at her wedding, she had a lacy headress, equally stunning, so maybe Charlene won't wear a tiara. There will be a lot of guessing about what they both will wear, but it will be spectacular whatever they choose. It will all be so romantic and exciting to watch.
